Real Estate In The Daniels Corridor

Everyone Is Talking!
Everyone is always talking real estate markets. You hear the
terms, “Buyer’s Market,” “Seller’s Market,” “Up Market,” “Down Market.”
As a REALTOR® serving the Daniels Parkway Corridor for the past 20
years, I’ve seen and heard all of the above.
The past three years have truly been “HOT!” Our current market
has cooled substantially. However, homes priced right are still
selling.
Fort Myers is in a good position. About 8,000 Baby Boomers are
turning 60 everyday. Some large companies in the North are
reducing work forces.
Several million people will move to warmer climates when they
retire. When they do, they bring their money and it all impacts
each of us. If you are selling almost anything or providing a
service, an increase of 20,000 people a year moving to Lee County
impacts all of us.
However, these 20,000 people bring other challenges. Traffic,
schools, restaurants and medical facilities are just a few.
All of us breathe a sign of relief when Spring comes because we know
that traffic will be better. We all wanted to be the last one to
move to the area.
Since we are in paradise, we can expect more people to move here.
When they do, they will buy homes, goods and services. It’s
called “progress!”

Currently, 559 homes are for sale.
Prices range from $239,900 to $3,195,000.
93 sales closed in the first quarter.
72 home sales are pending.
There are 766 condos for sale.
Prices range from $134,000 to $839,000.
81 condos sales closed in the first quarter.
60 condo sales are pending.
